The design brief
Discuss the material palette, the intended feel, and the choices already made.
CONSIDERED FROM THE START
A flooring project brings together design, product requirements, site conditions, and skilled installation. Our approach keeps those decisions connected from the first conversation.
Selections by appointment Personal guidance from first ideas to next steps

01 · UNDERSTAND
We start with your property, the rooms involved, the people using them, and the result you want. Your design direction and budget belong in the same conversation as access, timing, and the work already planned.
Discuss the material palette, the intended feel, and the choices already made.
Review household use, cleaning preferences, room transitions, and any known concerns with the existing floor.
Identify your location, timing, decision makers, and whether the home will be occupied during the work.
02 · DEFINE
After the material direction is established, the next step is to confirm the information needed for an accurate proposal. Depending on the project, this may include measurement, a site review, manufacturer requirements, and coordination with your designer or builder.
Confirm the manufacturer, style, color, format, and the supporting product documents before an order.
Identify what must be reviewed at the property and which preparation or testing items belong in the proposal.
Review the included work, exclusions, material terms, payment schedule, and responsibilities before proceeding.
03 · COORDINATE
Installation is coordinated with independent trade partners for the agreed scope. The parties responsible for the work, the sequence, and the site arrangements are identified before scheduling. Material availability and project readiness guide the final dates.
Consider product arrival, site readiness, access, other trades, and the needs of an occupied home.
Confirm transitions, trim, stairs, pattern direction, and other decisions that affect the finished result.
Keep the applicable manufacturer care and warranty information with your final product records.
A few useful details
A considered project starts with clear information.
Approximate square footage helps start the conversation, but a complete proposal also depends on the material, layout, site conditions, preparation, transitions, stairs, access, and agreed work scope.
Installation is coordinated with independent trade partners. The parties performing the work and their responsibilities are identified in the project documents before work begins.
A requested date is reviewed against availability, material lead time, site readiness, and the accepted project terms. A date is confirmed through direct communication; sending a form does not reserve a time.
